This one is William H. Knowles, son of Frank M. Knowles & Clara Fisher (Note: William died in 1956 and is buried at Riverside Cem, Fountain Co IN.
William Knowles Fountain County resident passed away at the Rockville sanitarium, Tuesday afternoon at 2:10 p.m. He had been a patient at the Sanitarium for the past six years. William Knowles son of Frank and Clara Fisher Knowles was born at Portland Oct 10, 1899 and spent his entire life in this community. He was married at Covington Dec 7, 1921 to Esther Evia Olsen who passed away Aug 21, 1948. For over 20 years Mr. Knowles was a railroad engineer for C.A. and S. railroad, and at the time of his illness he was employed at the Harrison Steel Castings Company. Mr. Knowles is survived by 11 children.
